Electrical Mechanical Maintenance - Week Night

About the role

Utz Quality Foods is hiring experienced Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technicians for our 103 Kindig Lane Facility in Hanover, PA. This is a critical, full-time role supporting automated conveyor systems and high-speed packaging equipment, with a focus on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair advanced conveyor belt systems and automated material handling equipment
• Work with PLC systems, motor controls, DC/AC drives, and sensor-based automation
• Install, wire, and maintain electrical components like relays, motors, and panels
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and keep systems running smoothly
• Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams with accuracy
• Install conduit, EMT, and sealtite independently to support system upgrades and expansions

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance (electrical and mechanical)
• Experience working with automated conveyor systems or warehouse distribution technology
• Skilled in diagnosing issues with sensors, relays, VFDs, and control panels
• Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs and working at heights up to 30 feet
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and attention to detail
• Experience in food manufacturing or packaging is a plus

Schedule

Monday to Thursday, 5:55 PM – 5:55 AM.
