Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct residential electrical crews on single-family construction projects
- Aid with daily planning, scheduling, and coordination of manpower and jobsite activities
- Ensure all electrical installations meet NEC requirements, local codes, and company quality standards
- Serve as a field liaison between electricians, builders, and project management teams
- Resolve electrical installation issues in the field
- Promote and enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Conduct toolbox talks and participate in safety meetings
- Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment needed to complete projects efficiently
- Train and mentor apprentice and journeyman electricians
- Maintain accurate job documentation, including work orders, inspections, and job progress reports
- Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance productivity and quality
- Ensure projects remain on schedule and meet customer expectations
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of residential electrical experience, including single-family new construction
- Previous leadership experience as a Leadman, Crew Leader, Foreman, or similar role
- Valid Georgia electrical license (if applicable)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and residential electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and electrical schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks daily
- Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders
Work Environment
- Field-based role on active residential construction sites and occupied homes
- Travel required throughout the South Atlanta area
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Work at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces as needed
