Electrical Lead

About the role

Christman Facility Solutions is a company with projects across the Metro Dallas region. They are currently seeking an Electrical Lead to join their Dallas, Texas team.

Responsibilities

• Assists licensed Journeyman and Foreman by performing tasks in a lead role.
• Demonstrates knowledge of trade skills and works alongside crew to install a quality product according to plans and specifications.
• Performs layout and pre-planning daily to procure materials, tools, and equipment.
• Aids crew in wire pulls and installation and wiring of receptacles, switching devices, and lighting.
• Ensures proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment, returning damaged items for repair or replacement and securing them against theft or loss.
• Fulfills Christman policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
• Maintains cleanliness of the immediate working area, follows material procedures, identifies and reports safety hazards, and takes necessary corrective actions.
• Possesses a working knowledge and understanding of phase conductors, conduit fill, conductor ampacity/de-rating, and voltage drop calculations.
• Trained and experienced to work on or in proximity to energized electrical parts or circuit conductors with necessary approvals and permits.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Three (3) or more years of commercial electrical experience-or Equivalent combination of the above education, training, and experience
• Current State issued Journeyman Electrical License, or able to obtain upon hire

Preferred Experience, Knowledge, And Skills

• First-Aid/CPR with AED

Required experience, knowledge, and skills for this role include:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Three (3) or more years of commercial electrical experience-or Equivalent combination of the above education, training, and experience
• Current State issued Journeyman Electrical License, or able to obtain upon hire

Preferred Experience, Knowledge, And Skills For This Role Include:

• First-Aid/CPR with AED

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

• Must have a current driver's license and ability to legally and safely operate company trucks, including lift-gate.
• Must have ability to read and write.
• Must be able to interpret and understand blueprints, schematics, and labels.
• Must have a working knowledge of codes and local ordinances.
• Must be qualified to operate trenchers and aerial man lifts and have experience with power tools, saws, drills, knockout punches, wire tuggers, pipe benders, cable cutters, and able to operate (2) handed tools.
• Maintain a current state-issued Journeyman Electrical License.
