Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Plans wiring and installation of equipment and fixtures such as switches, circuit breakers, and panel boards.
- Installs wiring and fixtures for conformance to company specifications and local electrical codes.
- Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving problems.
- Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
- Sets up conduit cutting, threading, and bending machines and equipment.
- Performs activities of workers supervised.
- Performs tests for continuity of circuits to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components using testing instruments such as volt/ohmmeter.
- Instructs or trains crew members in the installation policies and standards set forth by Trachte for quality and consistency and is directly accountable for the electrical installation of their assigned project.
- Endeavors to create a workplace environment that is enjoyable, engenders pride in the product and focus on the customer, and provides room for individual responsibilities and ideas.
Qualifications
- High school graduate and five years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the installation of electrical wiring and equipment relating to manufacturing or the construction trade.
- Possess the ability to effectively interact with Supervisors in efforts to understand and complete electrical installation tasks within established time and material constraints.
- Be familiar with and possess a working knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
- State of Wisconsin Journeyman or Master Electrician license is required.

Pay
$XX.XX per hour or $XXX,XXX annually based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
6:00am - 4:30pm Monday thru Thursday and up to 10 hours on Fridays.
