Electrical Lead Man

Responsibilities

• Monitor installations to ensure work is performed according to Company standards and the contract.
• Ensure Company’s crews are used efficiently and properly.
• Manage portions of the project and employees in collaboration with the foreman.
• Manage productivity by effectively managing crew and time.
• Establish high performance and quality standards.
• Implement project goals and monitor progress.
• Utilize the Prefab shop to its full capacity.
• Anticipate and address potential problems proactively.
• Lead as an enthusiastic and motivating figure.
• Maintain crew punctuality and adhere to rest breaks.
• Create and maintain “as-builts” documentation.
• Implement Bergelectric’s Employee Handbook and safety policies.
• Work collaboratively to support company profit and growth.

Qualifications

• Completion of an electrical construction apprentice program or valid state electrician license/certification.
• Field experience as a journeyman electrician for at least 4 years, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Solid understanding of electrical codes and installation methods.
• Effective communication skills, including verbal and written presentation.
• Knowledge of basic electrical laws and systems.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and anticipate future issues.
• Resourcefulness and quick problem-solving abilities.
• Basic mathematical and electrical formula proficiency.
• Detail-oriented and able to visualize and sketch electrical layouts.
• Physical capabilities to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, pull wires, and work in various weather conditions.

Physical Demands

• Lift 50 lbs. from the ground and pull 50 lbs. of force.
• Perform ladder climbing, wire pulling, and conduit pulling.
• Stand for long periods while performing repetitive actions like grasping or manipulating wires.
• Work off ladders, man lifts, or reach booms.

Salary Range

USD $46.00 - USD $50.00 /Hr.
