Basic Qualifications

- Requires ability to read wiring schematics, check sheets, specification, work guides, and written instructions.
- Requires ability to use electrical measuring and testing equipment such as circuit analyzer, volt meter, resistance tester, etc.
Job Description
- Perform visual inspection and testing operations on aircraft electrical and electronic systems.
- Follow general instructions, standard inspection procedures, engineering drawings, engineering specifications, check sheets, and other written or oral instructions to perform standard electrical inspection and testing operations.
- Utilize Electronic Operation Sheet System (Solumina) for accountability of all assembly/inspection operations and test requirements.
- Inspect systems and components for physical conditions, proper identification, completion and installation of all parts and assemblies, satisfactory workmanship.
- Check for broken strands in wiring, sufficient strain relief, proper mechanical connection, identification, and condition of plugs, wiring, and insulation.
- Conduct high potential and insulation resistance tests on fuel gage wiring antenna cables, as occasion requires.
- Document Non-Conformances utilizing Electronic Documentation System (Solumina) on assemblies and components not meeting specifications.
- Maintain current record of deviations (discrepancies), and document non-conforming product due to workmanship or defective materials in accordance with current Non-Conforming Material Rejection Procedures via the electronic Non-Conforming Material Rejection Report System for parts rejection.
- Perform detail specification checks and other related inspection duties as directed.
- Refer unusual conditions to leadman or foreman.
- Perform operator checklist as required and comply with all ESH procedures.
- As required, segregate waste material and follow good housekeeping practices.
