Electrical Foreman

About the role

Onsite with customers, involved in medium voltage, equipment service and inspection, repair, and annual preventative maintenance of electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned craftsmen.
• Select appropriate tools and materials for installation.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and work orders.
• Install or direct the installation of material and equipment in buildings or work sites.
• Interpret and enforce company policies to include safety regulations.
• Adjust work to meet construction schedules.
• Maintain time records.
• Supervise and coordinate sub-contractor activities.
• Work with other craft superintendents and project managers to accomplish projects.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of Construction Foreman experience.
• At least 2 years of medium voltage experience.
• Journeyman card in electrical field or an electrical license.
• Ability to think critically and resolve problems.
• Comfortable with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Thorough understanding of safety requirements and OSHA guidelines.
• Able to read and understand blueprints, sketches, labels, job site maps/directions, instruction manuals, and written instructions accurately.
• High school graduate or hold G.E.D.
• Valid driver’s license.

Pay

$27.50 to $45.00 per hour, DOE.
