About the role
The Electrical Foreman is responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of electrical systems in a construction project.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate activities of electricians and other construction workers.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
- Plan and schedule work tasks to meet deadlines.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical construction or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in OSHA safety standards.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and industry practices.
Skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
- Experience with project management tools.
- Good understanding of electrical systems and components.
