Electrical Field Engineer III

About the role

The Electrical Field Engineer III will oversee project activities, conduct site inspections, lead coordination efforts, and ensure construction projects progress smoothly and according to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assume a leadership role in managing and overseeing multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring project objectives, schedules, and budgets are met or exceeded.
• Conduct rigorous site inspections to verify construction activities align with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Lead quality control efforts and implement corrective actions as required.
• Supervise layout tasks, ensuring precise measurements, dimensions, and elevations; provide guidance and mentorship to junior Field Engineers.
• Facilitate clear and effective communication among project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers.
• Resolve complex design and construction-related issues promptly.
• Enforce strict safety protocols and guidelines on construction sites, promoting a strong culture of safety.
• Conduct safety audits, investigations, and implement safety improvements.
• Analyze construction data, materials usage, and progress to provide valuable insights for decision-making.
• Generate detailed reports and summaries for project management and stakeholders.
• Manage and document changes to project plans and specifications, ensuring as-built drawings accurately reflect construction modifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of extensive experience in electrical construction, with a focus in the industrial/heavy commercial market.
• Experience in BIM, Revit, Navisworks, and other 3D modeling software.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and acute attention to detail.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
• Proficient in managing multiple complex tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable working in an outdoor construction environment.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

$60/hr. - $80/hr.
