Electrical Estimator

About the role

Pro Tech Mechanical, a Crete United company, is seeking an experienced commercial Plumbing Estimator to join our team in Corpus Christi, Texas. Relocation assistance may be available for well-qualified candidates. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and hands-on training.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate take-offs for commercial plumbing projects.
• Maintain contact with vendors and subcontractors regarding projects (submittals, change orders, RFIs, O&Ms, etc.).
• Properly process, submit, and file change orders.
• Perform quantity take-offs for estimates.
• Promptly answer and return phone calls and emails from vendors and customers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar plumbing estimator or project management role, specifically in commercial construction.
• Experience with commercial or industrial plumbing estimation and project management.
• Ability to prioritize work and communicate effectively at all levels.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including spreadsheets, projects, and presentation software.
• Experience with digital onscreen take-off systems; Viewpoint software preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, details, and project specifications.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to collaborate with others.

Pay

Top base pay ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus potential for performance bonuses.
