Electrical Estimator

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support and manage the estimating process across a wide range of projects ($100K–$5M+), including healthcare, hospitality, retail, restaurants, schools, manufacturing, multifamily, and industrial work.
• Review plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope of work
• Prepare detailed estimates using Accubid or similar estimating software
• Analyze estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Request and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Identify qualified suppliers and ensure quotes align with project requirements
• Quantify labor, materials, tools, equipment, and other project costs
• Affiliate with leadership to review scope, pricing, and technical details prior to submission
• Support project turnover by clearly communicating estimate details to project teams
• Draft scope inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications
• Provide value engineering ideas and cost-saving recommendations

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of electrical estimating experience
• Experience with Accubid LiveCount and/or Bluebeam preferred
• Strong understanding of electrical construction processes across various project types
• Knowledge of electrical codes and installation methods
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
