Job Responsibilities
- Create basic designs under the direction of the Senior Engineer and/or Senior Designer.
- Develop specifications, system narratives, and system layouts for a variety of projects of different sizes.
- Establish system application, design, and operational parameters / sequences under the direction of the Senior on the project.
- Participate in ensuring / oversee QA/QC process for your work and the work of others.
- Afford assistance in determining project scheduling requirements, manpower requirements, and project budgets.
- Perform construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned projects, including conducting field inspections and subsequent detailed inspection reports.
- Assist in processing RFI’s, Change Orders, Bulletins, and Addenda.
Job Requirements
- Ability to use REVIT for system layout and spatial coordination of the production of detailed drawings.
- Basic understanding of the practical application of LEED principles to building designs.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an Accredited Institution with 18 months to 3.5+ years of experience working in a consulting firm.
- Current PE registration, preferred; E.I.T./FE required.
- LEED AP, highly preferred.
- Experience working with projects such as Federal, Healthcare, Commercial, and Mission Critical.
- REVT and the latest version of AutoCAD MEP experience.
- Proficient in design and calculation software.
