Electrical Engineer II - III

Job Responsibilities

• Create basic designs under the direction of the Senior Engineer and/or Senior Designer.
• Develop specifications, system narratives, and system layouts for a variety of projects of different sizes.
• Establish system application, design, and operational parameters / sequences under the direction of the Senior on the project.
• Participate in ensuring / oversee QA/QC process for your work and the work of others.
• Afford assistance in determining project scheduling requirements, manpower requirements, and project budgets.
• Perform construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned projects, including conducting field inspections and subsequent detailed inspection reports.
• Assist in processing RFI’s, Change Orders, Bulletins, and Addenda.

Job Requirements

• Ability to use REVIT for system layout and spatial coordination of the production of detailed drawings.
• Basic understanding of the practical application of LEED principles to building designs.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an Accredited Institution with 18 months to 3.5+ years of experience working in a consulting firm.
• Current PE registration, preferred; E.I.T./FE required.
• LEED AP, highly preferred.
• Experience working with projects such as Federal, Healthcare, Commercial, and Mission Critical.
• REVT and the latest version of AutoCAD MEP experience.
• Proficient in design and calculation software.
