Responsibilities
- Provide engineering design for small projects, with oversight from more experienced engineers, with the ability to adapt to changes in scope and design
- Perform engineering activity based on project estimated hours and schedule
- Aid in the preparation of engineering FEED studies
- Ensure all Bi-Con Engineering and client specifications and standards are understood and followed
- Exercise resourcefulness and ingenuity to resolve technical issues
- Markup and backcheck project drawings
- Prepare project deliverables, including conduit/cable schedules, interconnection details, electrical calculations
Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering (ABET-accredited)
- A thorough understanding of the NEC, IEEE, and other related standards
- A working knowledge of Hazardous Area classification using API and AGA standards
- A proficient use of Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite
- A good working knowledge of Visual and BCE-specific software
- Good communication and analytical skills
