Overall Responsibility
Provide/direct the electrical engineering design of natural gas, hydrocarbon, and industrial projects.
Assist in Technical Implementation
Assist in the technical implementation of assigned projects.
Coordination
- Coordinate with other managers, engineers, designers, and drafters in completing project assignments.
Location and Schedule
This position is located in Derwent, Ohio and is a Monday-Friday in the office position!
Project Design
- Provide engineering design for small projects, with oversight from more experienced engineers, with the ability to adapt to changes in scope and design
- Perform engineering activity based on project estimated hours and schedule
FEED Studies
- Aid in the Preparation of engineering FEED studies
Compliance and Standards
- Ensure all Bi-Con Engineering and client specifications and standards are understood and followed
Software Proficiency
- Proficient use of Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite
Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of Hazardous Area classification using API and AGA standards
Communication and Analytical Skills
- Good communication and analytical skills are also required
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering (ABET-accredited)
- Engineer with E.I. and 0-2 years’ experience, or Engineer without E.I. AND 0-4 years’ experience
