Electrical Engineer I

Duties

• Instrumentation and control system design, build up, checkout, validation, actively support propulsion test operations and perform post-test data analysis.
• Preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and repair of systems and equipment.
• Design, build, and operation of Propulsion standard video systems, as well as high speed, high definition, and IR video systems.

Requirements

• BS degree from an ABET accredited electrical engineering program and 0 to 3 years related experience, or an ABET accredited Aerospace Engineering program with strong emphasis in electrical/electronic systems and 0 to 3 years related electrical engineering experience.
• Experience in 2 or more of the following is desired: design, calibration, and application of instrumentation; data systems and data acquisition systems; data analysis and uncertainty analysis; design of hardwire and computerized control systems to include development of associated control system software; experience configuring, programming, and using OPTO-22, Allen Bradley or other PLC type HMI controls systems.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
