Electrical Engineer/ Draftsman

About the role

Preferred Combustion, a division of Preferred Utilities Manufacturing Corporation, is seeking an Inside Sales Application Engineer to support our Outside Sales Team. We are also looking for an Electrical Engineer or Electrical Draftsman for Panel Design.

Responsibilities

• Design Development from Proposal to finished Engineering Package
• Use AutoCAD to create wiring diagrams and enclosure layouts
• Perform basic electrical component calculations to determine panel design
• Research components and create Bills of Materials for their designs
• Review customer specification documents to ensure compliance
• Interpret and adhere to applicable codes and standards
• Assist applications engineer to generate proposal
• Slight travel for meetings and site visits 10%

Requirements

• 4-year electrical engineering degree
• AutoCAD or Draftsight experience required
• Experience with electrical assembly preferred
• Experience being measured against monthly goals
• Strong Microsoft Office experience
• A desire to continuously improve
• Familiarity with burner management systems is a plus
• Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications
• Good communication skills
• Good time management skill are a must

Pay

Salary Range based on experience: $75,000- $100,000
