Electrical Engineer - Buildings
About the role
Be involved in projects with our Property & Buildings Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and guidance for the design, development, and construction of building electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial projects.
- Support electrical system design including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and related building systems.
- Aid in research, concept development, and preparation of construction documents and specifications.
- Generate accurate engineering reports and documentation related to materials, installations, and design specifications.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards for design, safety, and functionality.
- Collect, compile, and analyze technical data to support design decisions and project execution.
- Cook up with internal teams, external consultants, and clients throughout project lifecycles.
- Afford third-party design documents and project plans for review.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant post-education experience in electrical engineering design, preferably within building systems or consulting environments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit for building system design.
- Working knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and industry best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or progress toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
- Experience supporting healthcare, higher education, commercial, or science & technology projects.

Expected Salary: $82,80- $118,400
