Job Description and Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical control systems for oil and gas downhole tools and surface control systems.
- Design magnetic devices (transformers, inductors) for downhole applications.
- PCB/PCA layout using Altium.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation.
- Collaborate with other disciplines for oil and gas systems integration.
- Work on troubleshooting production test equipment.
- Support manufacturing production lines with tool performance and testing.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting/repair of electrical equipment.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
Education and Training
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience preferred.
General Requirements / Technical Requirements & Skills
- Electrical Systems design.
- Experience with embedded firmware (using C and assembly) for Microchip product suite.
- Experience with hardware simulation tools (power and signal integrity, electromagnetics, thermal management, etc).
- Experience with Matlab and LabView.
- Altium or similar PCB design experience.
- Ability to apply basic soldering (SMT and thru-hole).
- Version Control using GitHub.

- Must have a valid driver’s license and record that conforms to the Company’s insurance policies, ATF, DOT, and State regulations.
Work Authorization / Security Clearance
- Authorized to work in the United States (student visa is not acceptable).
