Electrical Engineer
About the role
Design the electrical part of refrigeration units and/or the refrigeration plant using alternative construction criteria consistent with sustainability principles.
Requirements
- Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree (bachelor’s with 7+ years of experience or master’s with 5+ years of experience)
- Competency with electrical wiring diagram design
- Knowledge of PCB design
- Hands-on engineering and prototype testing for lighting optimization is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead product development and electrical design activities for commercial refrigeration systems
- Communicate and collaborate effectively within the organization and with external vendors and suppliers
- Optimize designs using Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Assembly (DFA) principles
- Perform engineering design using hand calculations and analysis of 1D/2D engineering models
- Integrate electronic and electrical components (controllers, harness, plugs, luminaires) while meeting electrical safety standards
- Generate and present reports for design approval
- Draft and publish internal engineering standards and procedures
Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and CAD software
- Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
