Electrical Engineer

As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll be a key player in driving our success in safety, quality, and efficiency. You’ll help us hit our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new equipment initiatives with a team of engineers and technicians
• Troubleshoot and implement innovative engineering solutions
• Design cutting-edge automated production equipment
• Create electrical schematics and control systems
• Support equipment installations
• Perform power requirement calculations
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to elevate operations
• Train production staff on best practices
• Collaborate across departments to gather insights
• Lead continuous improvement plans to enhance efficiency and safety

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in engineering or related field of study and three (3) years of related engineering experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
• Experience designing, developing, implementing, and troubleshooting motion control systems, including variable frequency drives and servo control
• Experience designing, developing, implementing, and troubleshooting electrical control systems such as PLC, relay logic, and control networks, production equipment automation, and industrial controls networks
• Experience using and programming controls software
• Experience using HMI and Ladder Logic
• Experience with 5S procedures
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution of products
• Use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
• Ability to successfully prioritize and organize projects, deadlines, and tasks with little supervision in both team and independent environments
• Strong verbal and written skills necessary to communicate intricate job-related information
