Responsibilities
- Design, build, perform, and analyze tests for products and product components.
- Build, set up, and maintain test and calibration systems for various hand-held test equipment.
- Maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades of different test benches related to DSL, Cable, Fiber, Wireless, Wi-Fi testing, and calibration.
- Generate engineering documents, including schematics, diagnostics, flowcharts, and project status reports.
- Develop automated test and repair capabilities.
- Build, test, debug, and develop applications using C, C#, C++, Python, JTAG, CLI, or LINUX.
- Hardware debug experience at the board level.
- Perform a variety of professional and technical engineering functions with minimal supervision, including project management, continuous improvement plans, and development projects.
Requirements
- 1-4 years of experience.
- Ability to build test systems and configure software for test systems.
- Experience in testing and debugging RF, analog, mixed signal ICs.
- Experience in developing test instructions and procedures.
- Experience designing test systems and using custom and off-the-shelf test equipment.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and execute test procedures.
- Ability to create/analyze detailed technical documentation with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates problem-solving abilities and effective decision-making skills.
- Ability to work as an individual as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to interact professionally with customers, if applicable.
- Report preparation and data analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Project).
Preferred Qualifications
- Telecommunications technical experience and overall understanding.
- Skilled in engaging and collaborating effectively across various engineering disciplines.
- Ability to interact and collaborate professionally with Business and Operational teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Engineering or a related field of science.
Skills
- C, C#, C++, Python, JTAG, CLI, LINUX applications.
