Position Summary
We’re looking for a hard-working individual who would like to join us in developing new product concepts within our Functional Safety group, as well as engineering, manufacturing, and customer support. This Electrical Engineer II position is a hands-on research and development role focusing on product design. You’ll be a contributing member in our collaborative environment while finding a good amount of autonomy here and a hard-working group that contributes to Banner’s ongoing success and continuing growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design analog and digital circuits for industrial safety products.
- Evaluate electrical designs to ensure the products meet the intended requirements.
- Manage product documentation including bill of materials (BOMs), design verification reports, and engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Collaborate with optical, mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineers to provide globally competitive products.
What You Bring To The Table
- At least 2 years of experience in electrical design in a related industry.
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- Effective working experience with analog / small signal and embedded systems design.
- Proficiency with relevant circuit design software tools including schematic capture, PCB layout, and SPICE / simulation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with test & measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, spectrum analyzers, custom test platforms, etc.
- Ability to multi-task effectively, work in a collaborative team environment, and take initiative on design choices.
- Ability to clearly and concisely convey ideas to others, both verbally and in written formats.
Physical Demands
- Sit for up to 8 hours per day.
- Continuous movement, walking, or standing.
- Exposed to a computer screen for extended periods.
- May require repetitive motions such as utilize a computer mouse, keyboard, computer, and other standard office equipment.
- Communicate with others frequently.

- Base Pay Range: $100,698.00 - $128,278.00
