Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems and circuits for robotic platforms, including schematics, PCB layouts, and system integration.
- Support prototype builds, including wiring, bring-up, debugging, and validation of hardware systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and system-level issues during development and testing.
- Aid in Design Verification Testing (DVT) and other validation activities to ensure product performance and reliability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, embedded software, and systems engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Perform bench testing, data collection, and analysis to evaluate system performance and identify improvements.
- Document designs, test results, and troubleshooting findings to support development and future production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with electrical design, prototyping, and debugging (robotics or hardware systems preferred).
- Familiarity with lab tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and logic analyzers.
- Exposure to embedded systems, sensors, actuators, or motor control is a plus.
- Experience with testing and validation (DVT or similar) is preferred but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced development environment.
Pay
Salary Range: $120k-$170k
