Electrical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing and developing electronic systems for a range of industries including consumer products, medical devices, space systems, UAVs, and industrial controls.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop hardware architectures, power budgets, electrical block diagrams, schematics, and PCBs
• Layout, bring-up, and debug designs
• Document and verify designs
• Participate in design reviews
• Occasionally support the sales team during bidding and quoting processes
• Work closely with other disciplines and senior electrical team members on project teams

Requirements

• Several years of experience in electrical or computer engineering
• Experience with microcontrollers, processors, and FPGAs in embedded systems
• Controlled impedance for high-speed channel design or RF technologies
• Communications interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, RS-232, RS-485, USB, SDIO, CAN, MIL-STD-1553, LVDS, etc.
• DC/DC converters and topologies
• EMI/EMC and Signal Integrity analysis
• Analog and sensor interface design
• Lab troubleshooting and debug experience using test equipment like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
