About the role
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing and developing electronic systems for a range of industries including consumer products, medical devices, space systems, UAVs, and industrial controls.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop hardware architectures, power budgets, electrical block diagrams, schematics, and PCBs
- Layout, bring-up, and debug designs
- Document and verify designs
- Participate in design reviews
- Occasionally support the sales team during bidding and quoting processes
- Work closely with other disciplines and senior electrical team members on project teams
Requirements
- Several years of experience in electrical or computer engineering
- Experience with microcontrollers, processors, and FPGAs in embedded systems
- Controlled impedance for high-speed channel design or RF technologies
- Communications interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, RS-232, RS-485, USB, SDIO, CAN, MIL-STD-1553, LVDS, etc.
- DC/DC converters and topologies
- EMI/EMC and Signal Integrity analysis
- Analog and sensor interface design
- Lab troubleshooting and debug experience using test equipment like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
