About the role

As an Electrical Technician, you will use Revit and CAD software to create plans, perform advanced-level design work, coordinate with clients, and provide technical support. You may also travel to job sites for observations or field work. Flexibility and a willingness to provide timely solutions are essential.

The Olsson Industrial Team provides engineering services for Ag Industrial facilities, Renewable Natural Gas Plants, Water/Wastewater, Semiconductor manufacturing facilities, and Ethanol plants, among others.

Responsibilities

• Use Revit and CAD software to create detailed plans and perform advanced-level design work.
• Coordinate with clients and provide technical support to the team.
• Travel to job sites for observations or field work as needed.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced environment to deliver timely solutions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Drafting or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of CAD and Revit software experience.
• Strong communication skills and a self-starter mindset.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel to project sites (frequency aligns with individual preference).
• Experience designing facilities and associated electrical systems.
• Understanding of electrical systems and applicable codes/standards (a plus).
• Passion for detailed work and collaborative relationships.
