Responsibilities
- Drafting in Bentley MicroStation: one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, lighting/power plans, installation details, Instrumentation and Controls Diagrams, conduit/cable schedules, fire alarm and communication drawings
- Experience with low and medium voltage power distribution and industrial control systems
- Experience with NFPA 70, NFPA 79, and UL508A
- Preparing data sheets, specifications, and walkdown reports
- Work in concert with electrical engineers and other CAD drafters from the same work group
- Support construction and operational activities related to design outputs
- Perform field walkdowns, sometimes in radiological contaminated areas
Requirements
- Associates or higher degree in a technical field and a minimum of six years of related experience, or a high school diploma and 13 or more years of relevant experience
- Ability to obtain Q-clearance
Schedule
Mon.–Thur., 10-hour days (4/10 schedule)
Little to no travel expected (<5%)
