About the Role
The Electrical Designer/Engineer will work in a fast-paced multi-discipline team environment. Our Electrical Designers focus primarily on the design of building-related projects, including educational facilities, healthcare (hospital, clinic, diagnostic), indigenous, municipal, and retail/commercial spaces using Revit and AutoCAD software.
Responsibilities
- Develop electrical distribution system designs and documentation in AutoCAD/Revit.
- Understand and design lighting systems, power distribution systems, emergency power supply systems, and fire alarm systems.
- Perform electrical load calculations and select and size equipment.
- Assist in editing electrical system specifications.
- Survey existing buildings and identify existing electrical systems and their components.
- Review equipment submittals for compliance with the Contract Documents.
- Observe and report upon electrical construction work in progress.
- Interact with project team members and leaders.
Requirements
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree from an Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology program, or similar.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer in Oklahoma (or ability to obtain).
- 3-5 years of experience in the design of electrical systems for various types of facilities.
- Design experience in commercial, municipal, and institutional projects.
- Hands-on experience with the latest versions of AutoCAD and REVIT, MS Office, Outlook, and engineering calculation and performance simulation software.

Location & Travel
This position is based in Moore, OK. Travel is expected to be 10% or less.
