Electrical Designer

About the role

Work closely with the Senior Design Manager to support the design and development of electrical systems for distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and corporate buildings. This role offers exposure to both electrical design and project coordination while contributing to projects from concept through construction.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Assist in the design of power distribution, lighting, emergency power, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
• Support field investigations, site visits, and documentation of existing conditions.
• Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, mechanical, plumbing, structural, and controls teams.
• Participate in design reviews and implement feedback from project stakeholders.
• Prepare one-line diagrams, panel schedules, load calculations, and equipment layouts.
• Provide support during construction and assist with project administration activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting projects within food manufacturing, distribution centers, industrial, or large commercial facilities.

• Ability to support field investigations and construction administration activities.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Experience Level

Entry-Level. Ideal for recent graduates or early-career electrical designers/engineers seeking hands-on experience in industrial and commercial facility design with opportunities for mentorship and professional growth.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $28.84 – $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
