JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN

Support engineering project leads and electrical team leads in developing subsystem and component designs that meet customer requirements.

Contribute to the design, detailing, and release of standby power solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Work in a fast-paced engineering environment with challenging design projects and aggressive timelines.

Gain exposure to senior leadership and higher-level management through project execution and reporting.

Collaborate with local and global cross-functional engineering teams to deliver project objectives.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, detail, and release standby power solutions using Creo from concept through commissioning.
  • Support purchasing, manufacturing builds, and product implementation activities.
  • Collaborate daily with both local and global engineering teams.
  • Work within a team of 7 engineers (4 local, 3 remote/global team members).
  • Receive project direction from Electrical Team Leads and provide regular project status updates.
  • Primarily an office-based role with occasional shop-floor investigations requiring appropriate PPE (steel-toe shoes, safety equipment).

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering, Physics, CS or related field.
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience

  • Creo Modeling
  • Basic AutoCAD proficiency
  • Teamcenter experience
  • 480V and 208/120V AC Power System Design
  • Power Distribution Systems
  • DC System Design

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Creo Cabling
  • Creo RSD
  • TCP/IP Networking Knowledge
  • J1939 and RS-485 Communication Protocols Knowledge
