Responsibilities
- Performing circuit analysis and simulation
- Creating schematic designs
- Conducting circuit board layout and routing
- Producing accurate design documentation
- Troubleshooting and resolving hardware performance issues during integration, test, and verification
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 3+ years’ experience
- Active work experience in analog, digital, or mixed signal designs
- Thorough working knowledge of schematic capture and PCB layout expertise
- Altium Version 20 or newer strongly preferred
- Thorough knowledge of circuit simulation software (LTSpice, or similar)
- Active work experience in performing electrical analyses: Operating Stress, Electrical Worst-Case
- Preferred: Experience with DOD, SAE, IEEE, and/or IPC standards
- Safety Standards: RCC-319
- Design Standards: IPC-222x
- Knowledge of FPGA/VHDL and/or embedded C development
- Active work experience in performing risk analyses: FMECA, Fault-Tree
- Proficient with the use of diagnostics tools for “hands-on” testing and troubleshooting of PCBAs.
