About the role
This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.
Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of cable harnesses and electrical systems for New Glenn
- Collaborate with test engineers to define and implement requirements for cable harnesses
- Design and create detailed drawings and documentation for cable harnesses and electrical systems
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and testing of systems
- Ensure designs meet high standards of quality and safety
Requirements
- Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Design Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in cable harness design, procurement, fabrication, and testing
- Experience with connector systems and associated accessories
- Knowledge of cable shield grounding/bonding methods and requirements
- Experience with Creo CAD and Windchill PDM systems
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead design reviews and coordinate across cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

- Technical expertise in cable harness design and testing
- Leadership skills in managing design processes and coordinating with cross-functional teams
- Commitment to quality and safety in all aspects of the design and testing process
