Why You Will Love this Job
- Lead electrical design and integration of generator control systems
- Coordinate and integrate third-party electrical systems
- Manage and prioritize multiple custom engineering projects
- Develop detailed design packages including schematics, layouts, component selections, and specifications
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and designers
- Support production teams by resolving design questions and implementing necessary corrections
- Provide technical support to field service teams
- Identify risks, evaluate trade-offs, and implement design improvements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET-accredited program
- 2+ years of experience and/or internships in electrical engineering, preferably in industrial, power systems, or product development environments
- 2+ years of experience and/or internships managing or supporting electrical design projects
- Familiarity with power systems, generator sets, or related technologies preferred
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong curiosity and desire to solve problems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with generator sets, switchgear, or power generation systems
- Exposure to power electronics and control systems
- Experience supporting new product development or custom-engineered solutions

Pay
The Salary range for this position is $83,300.00-$105,200.00. The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
