Electrical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Material (BOMs) for custom customer orders.
• Collaborate with drafters, engineers, supervisors, and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
• Review and approve drawings and BOMs for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable electrical codes, standards, and customer specifications.
• Support quotation and sales teams in selecting appropriate products and technical solutions.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing during production.
• Affiliate with engineering change requests, non-material requests (NMRs), and project documentation.
• Provide electrical design guidance to drafters and designers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience using AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and engineering documentation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced engineering environment.

About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Reno, NV. Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This role is based in Reno, Nevada and is full-time. Occasional travel may be required.
