Responsibilities
- Design of parts and simple assemblies within defined boundary conditions
- Create electrical schematics and harnesses
- Specify hardware and software to control trucks, incorporating all safety features and accessories
- Create drawings and bills of materials (BOMs) in accordance with company standards
- Support prototype and field test equipment during construction and commissioning
- Cookordination development tasks with suppliers
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts
- Support cross-functional collaboration throughout the product lifecycle
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Hands-on experience with cradle-to-production design and testing of electrical systems (0–3 years preferred)
- Experience in mobile machine design is a plus
- Hands-on experience with electronic testing equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, programmable load, etc.)
- Proficiency with SAP, E3 Series 2014, and DOORS
- Familiarity in 3D CAD, ideally CATIA V5
- Knowledge of CAN/CANopen protocols and tools such as CANalyzer or CANoe
- Strong command of Microsoft Office tools
- Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus
