Electrical Coordinator/Lead

About the role

For this position, you will work onsite at the Palisades Nuclear Plant in Covert, MI. This is a full-time contract opportunity for 6 -12 months. You will report to the Site Project Manager and the Manager of I&C Installation Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a key resource for look-ahead for electrical activities
• Work as an Electrician with Lead responsibilities
• Report back to the Management team of any potential problems, working interference, and any schedule deficiencies
• Aid in resolving any issues
• Lead Electricians to complete the project meeting milestones set for the project
• Adhere to all safety requirements, stop work and report any safety issues immediately should they arise

Qualifications

• Electrician with 3 years Lead Experience
• Experience in maintenance modifications
• Installation/ fabrication of Conduit and Supports
• Installation of copper and fiber cables
• Cable terminations and modifications
• Installation of power and control panels/ switch gear
• Use a multi meter to include Live-Dead-Live
• Raychem splicing of low voltage
• Electrical safe work practices
• Clearance order verifications
• Temporary power installation
• Experience in nuclear power as JM electrician
• Read, write, speak and take tests in English without an interpreter or accommodations per US nuclear requirement

Our Commitment

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $60.00/hour to $75.00/hour.
