Electrical Coordinator/Lead
About the role
For this position, you will work onsite at the Palisades Nuclear Plant in Covert, MI. This is a full-time contract opportunity for 6 -12 months. You will report to the Site Project Manager and the Manager of I&C Installation Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a key resource for look-ahead for electrical activities
- You will work as an Electrician with Lead responsibilities.
- You will report back to the Management team of any potential problems, working interference, and any schedule deficiencies.
- You will assist in resolving any issues.
- Lead Electricians to complete the project meeting milestones set for the project.
- Adhere to all safety requirements, stop work and report any safety issues immediately should they arise.
Qualifications
- Electrician with 3 years Lead Experience
- Experience in maintenance modifications
- Installation/ fabrication of Conduit and Supports
- Installation of copper and fiber cables
- Cable terminations and modifications
- Installation of power and control panels/ switch gear
- Use a multi meter to include Live-Dead-Live
- Raychem splicing of low voltage
- Electrical safe work practices
- Clearance order verifications
- Temporary power installation
- Experience in nuclear power as JM electrician
Skills
Will read, write, speak and take tests in English without an interpreter or accommodations per US nuclear requirement.
