Electric Coordinator Lead
About the role
This position is a full-time contract opportunity for 6 – 12 months. You will work onsite at the Palisades Nuclear Plant in Covert, MI. You will report to the Site Project Manager and the Manager of I&C Installation Services.
Responsibilities
- Act as the key resource for look-ahead for electrical activities
- Work as an Electrician with Lead responsibilities
- Report back to the Management team of any potential problems, working interference, and any schedule deficiencies
- Aid in resolving any issues
- Lead Electricians to complete the project meeting milestones set for the project
- Adhere to all safety requirements, stop work and report any safety issues immediately should they arise
Qualifications
- Electrician with 3 years Lead Experience
- Experience in maintenance modifications
- Installation/ fabrication of Conduit and Supports
- Installation of copper and fiber cables
- Cable terminations and modifications
- Installation of power and control panels/ switch gear
- Use a multi meter to include Live-Dead-Live Raychem splicing of low voltage
- Electrical safe work practices
- Clearance order verifications
- Temporary power installation
- Experience in nuclear power as JM electrician
- Must have a Journey OR NCCER Industrial electrician certification OR equivalent experience, such as nuclear plant qualification
- Must have High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $TBD/hour to $TBD/hour.
