Electric Coordinator Lead

About the role

Contract - Electrical Lead/Coordinator – 6–12-month contract
For this position, you will work onsite at the Palisades Nuclear Plant in Covert, MI. This is a full-time contract opportunity for 6 – 12 months.
You will report to the Site Project Manager and the Manager of I&C Installation Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the key resource for look-ahead for electrical activities
• Work as an Electrician with Lead responsibilities
• Report back to the Management team of any potential problems, working interference, and any schedule deficiencies
• Aid in resolving any issues
• Lead Electricians to complete the project meeting milestones set for the project
• Adhere to all safety requirements, stop work and report any safety issues immediately should they arise

Qualifications

• Electrician with 3 years Lead Experience
• Experience in maintenance modifications Installation/ fabrication of Conduit and Supports
• Installation of copper and fiber cables Cable terminations and modifications
• Installation of power and control panels/ switch gear
• Use a multi meter to include Live-Dead-Live Raychem splicing of low voltage
• Electrical safe work practices
• Clearance order verifications Temporary power installation
• Experience in nuclear power as JM electrician
• Must have a Journey OR NCCER Industrial electrician certification OR equivalent experience, such as nuclear plant qualification
• Must have High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
