Electrical Codes Inspector (Hiring Bonus)
About the role
Arlington County's award-winning, fully accredited Inspection Services Division (ISD) within the Community Planning, Housing and Development (CPHD) Department is seeking an Electrical Codes Inspector to ensure that all phases of building construction are completed in conformance with codes, ordinances, and approved plans and specifications. The ISD is responsible for working with Arlington County citizens and developers to build and maintain property throughout the County.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all phases of building construction are completed in conformance with codes, ordinances, and approved plans and specifications
Qualifications
Electrical Codes Inspector positions may be filled at level I, II, or III, based on candidate's experience and qualifications.
Training
- Receive training on materials, methodology, and code requirements for residential and commercial high-rise inspections
Bonus
- New hires receive $1,500 upon hire and $1,500 after completing the probationary period ($3,000 total)
