Electrical Assembly Technician III (1st Shift)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced electrical assembly, wiring, and integration of components, harnesses, panels, and systems.
  • Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and bill of materials (BOMs).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues in assemblies and systems.
  • Conduct electrical testing using multimeters, insulation testers, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Validate assemblies meet specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
  • Support engineering teams with prototype builds, design feedback, and process improvements.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians (Level 1 and Level 2).
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Ensure all work complies with company, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Accurately document work performed, test results, and any deviations.
  • Maintain organized workstations and adhere to 6S practices.

Working Conditions

Qualifications

  • Required Qualifications: Strong ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and technical drawings. Proficiency with electrical tools and test equipment. Knowledge of wiring standards, connectors, crimping, soldering, and cable assemblies.
  • Experience Requirement: 4–7+ years of experience in electrical assembly or a related field. Experience troubleshooting electrical systems and components. Familiarity with safety standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA, IPC where applicable).

Education & Certification

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or technical certification preferred).
