Responsibilities
- Performs mechanical assemblies & sub-assemblies
- Leak tests using hand and power tools
- Operates hand and power tools to complete assemblies
- Reads and interprets work instructions to ensure accuracy of work performed
- Interacts with management and team members to encourage effective communication on the production floor
- Performs standard testing and minor and major troubleshooting
- Ensures quality standards are met throughout all steps of the assembly process
- Trains team members in procedures and best-known methods
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing/cleanroom environment
- Cable and harness assembly experience a plus
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to perform repetitive assembly operations
- Strong attention to detail, quality-focused, and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate computer terminals and general software applications
- Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints
- Familiarity with quality control documentation and inspection methods
Qualifications
- Some technician coursework and/or AA technical degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in helium leak testing, module and sub-assembly testing, and inspection preferred
