About the role
We are seeking an Electrical Assembly II (Electro-Mechanical Assembler) to perform routine to moderately complex electro-mechanical builds, wiring, repairs, and inspections supporting Navy and defense systems.
Responsibilities
- Assembling systems and subassemblies per engineering drawings and work instructions
- Performing wiring, soldering, crimping, and cable routing
- Supporting mechanical and electrical assembly of shipboard hardware
- Reading and interpreting engineering diagrams
- Conducting in-process checks, visual inspections, and functional testing to ensure compliance with specifications
- Maintaining accurate documentation
- Following safety protocols
- Supporting daily production
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of electro-mechanical assembly and hand-soldering experience
- Familiarity with wiring diagrams and work instructions
- Certifications in IPC-A-620, J-STD-001, and IPC-A-610 (training available if needed)
- Prior experience in defense manufacturing, cable and harness fabrication, or working in ISO/AS9100 environments (advantageous)
