Key Responsibilities
- Make connections in electrical switches with various wires, electrical cables, and connectors.
- Install and connect appropriate wiring to components in the platform.
- Install and connect appropriate wiring for all lighting systems to include strobe lights, boom lights, basket lighting, chassis lighting, trailer lighting, camera systems and any customer requested lighting systems.
- Fabricate and install brackets and mounting hardware to install any of the above accessories.
- Be able to trouble shoot, fix, and document any problems that arise from the electrical part of the installation of any component.
- Make sure this is done in accordance with drawings, Aspen Aerials’ specifications and the specifications of the manufacturers’ components.
- If any discrepancies exist, it is the electrical assembler’s responsibility to report them to the Production Manager or management’s representative.
Qualifications
- General mechanical capability.
- Must be able to read and comprehend engineering drawings.
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Must be comfortable working in and around large truck chassis; must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., climb ladders, and crawl under equipment.
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be able to perform functional tests.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to operate a wide variety of hand and power tools.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
