Electrical Assembler

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Assembly II (Electro-Mechanical Assembler) to perform routine to moderately complex electro-mechanical builds, wiring, repairs, and inspections supporting Navy and defense systems.

Responsibilities

• Assembling system-level and subassembly components using wiring, soldering, crimping, and cable routing in accordance with engineering schematics and work instructions.
• Supporting mechanical and electrical assembly of shipboard hardware, including chassis, wiring harnesses, CCAs, and circuit boards.
• Interpreting engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and connector pin-outs for assembly tasks.
• Conducting inspections, functional testing, and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Adhering to safety protocols, maintaining organized work areas, and supporting daily production schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of relevant electro-mechanical assembly and hand-soldering experience.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and drawings.
• Capability to obtain certifications such as IPC-A-620, J-STD-001, and IPC-A-610 (training provided if needed).

Skills

• Experience working to IPC workmanship criteria and in defense manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of cable and harness fabrication, electrical testing, and team collaboration.
