About the role

At Carter Machinery, we provide long-term careers defined by purpose, innovation, and impact. Our EPG Service Advisor plays a vital role in communicating with internal and external customers to gather information regarding equipment issues and providing repair status updates.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with internal and external customers to gather information regarding equipment issues and provide repair status updates while repairs are in progress.
  • Open and process work orders in an efficient and timely manner using thorough details on customer requests/complaints to ensure technician understanding and customer satisfaction.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Products.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to deal with stressful situations.
  • Must be a strong communicator with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to effectively multi-task.
  • Preferred working knowledge of the function and repair of heavy construction equipment.
  • Must be able to work any shift.
  • Promote a positive customer experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years’ service related experience.
  • Electric power generation exposure.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Required to sit and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.

Pay

Starting Compensation Range: $64,000 - $83,000 per year

Schedule

Must be able to work any shift.
