eLearning Developer

Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid) | Duration: Contract

Responsibilities

• Develop training materials using approved software tools (Articulate, Adobe, Vyond, Camtasia, WellSaid Labs, Kahoot, Microsoft, etc.)
• Design user interfaces for iPhone, iPad, Desktop, and PowerPoint presentations
• Write audio scripts to support technical topics
• Implement animation ideas utilizing various techniques
• Develop relevant scenarios alongside content owners
• Research details to expand on technical topics
• Identify, locate, or generate organization-specific visuals from provided sources
• Design training courses utilizing input from content owners and subject matter experts
• Develop new interactions in existing courses, including video solutions, LMS eLearning courses, and PowerPoint training solutions

Skills

• Advanced user of Articulate Studio, Rise, and/or Storyline (minimum 5 years)
• Advanced PowerPoint skills with strong storytelling, scenario-based learning, and visual/animation development
• Working knowledge of project management for client interactions during design and development
• Ability to work independently on projects while meeting quality and timing requirements
• Develop learning objectives and extract key knowledge transfer goals
• Create scenarios to support course goals based on provided content
• Write audio scripts from source documents and content owner feedback
• Convert source documents into training solutions, including highly technical and complex topics
• Develop engaging PowerPoint presentations and corresponding LMS modules
• Publish SCORM 1.2, xAPI, and AICC compliant courseware and MP4 videos
• Create or modify existing graphic elements and interactions
• Create and edit video content in PowerPoint, Camtasia, Vyond, and Premiere
• Prioritize time and project deliverables with minimal oversight
• Provide concise project update reports on work in progress
• Organize module elements and manage collecting, labeling, and storing for future updates

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in online training development using Articulate products (mandatory)
• Bachelor’s degree in a learning-related field or significant relevant experience (required)
• Degree in Organizational Learning/Training and Development (preferred)
• Portfolio of eLearning solutions including animations and storytelling techniques (required)
