What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and promote a strong safety culture throughout all site activities
- Serve as the primary HSE point of contact with the client
- Conduct site inspections, audits, safety observations, and compliance revisions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, client requirements, and procedures
- Exercise stop-work authority whenever unsafe conditions or behaviors are observed
- Conduct orientations, toolbox talks, safety meetings, and ongoing training
- Oversee permit-to-work activities including LOTO, confined space entry, hot work, rigging and lifting, electrical safety, and work at heights
- Support commissioning, startup, and qualification activities from an HSE perspective
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions
- Maintain all HSE documentation, reports, permits, and records
- Manage contractor and subcontractor safety performance
- Support environmental compliance, waste management, and housekeeping programs
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of construction, industrial, or pharmaceutical safety experience
- EHS - Environmental Health and Safety experience
- Experience supporting pharmaceutical, life sciences, semiconductor, data center, or large industrial projects
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe work practices
- Experience with contractor management and permit-to-work systems
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required
- CHST, ASP, CSP, OSHA 500, or equivalent professional safety certification preferred
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
