EHS Supervisor
About the Role
Join Interfor as an EHS Supervisor and become the driving force behind a safer, more sustainable workplace. You’ll be the go-to expert for all things safety and environment, leading programs that make a real impact on people and operations.
Responsibilities
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure everyone follows safe work practices.
- Oversee and evaluate key safety programs (lockout/tagout, mobile equipment, contractor safety).
- Lead EHS training, orientations, and compliance certifications for all staff.
- Conduct regular safety and environmental inspections, incident investigations, and track corrective actions.
- Support Safety Committee activities, emergency preparedness, and maintain accurate records and regulatory reporting.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
- 5+ years of EHS experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
