Job Summary
Air Distribution Technologies is seeking an EHS Specialist III to support our ASC manufacturing facility in Ponca City, Oklahoma. This role plays a critical part in fostering a strong safety culture by planning, implementing, and maintaining Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs at a single-site operation. The EHS Specialist III will partner closely with site leadership and employees to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement in workplace safety.
What You’ll Do
- Plan, coordinate, and administer site-specific EHS programs in a manufacturing environment
- Conduct safety training for employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
- Perform routine site audits and inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Lead the implementation and ongoing maintenance of EHS policies and procedures
- Cook conduct first-aid response activities and ensure readiness of emergency response protocols
- Conduct accident investigations, determine root causes, and implement preventive measures
- Compile, analyze, and report accident statistics for both internal and external reporting requirements
- Facilitate and lead regular safety meetings and promote employee engagement in safety initiatives
- Partner with site leadership to ensure continuous improvement of safety performance metrics
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1 year of related experience, OR Associate degree with a minimum of 6 years of related experience, OR Equivalent combination of education and relevant EHS experience
- Working knowledge of EHS programs, OSHA regulations, and workplace safety practices
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Preferred: Experience supporting single-site manufacturing operations, Familiarity with incident reporting systems and safety metrics tracking, Certification(s) such as OSHA, First Aid/CPR, or other EHS-related credentials
Work Environment
- This position operates within a manufacturing facility environment.
- The role may require standing for extended periods, walking the production floor, and exposure to varying noise levels, moving machinery, and industrial equipment.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
- The role may include responding to emergency situations and supporting first-aid activities.
