About the role
You will work within a global team supporting the occupational and environmental health and safety programs for our resin manufacturing plant in Richmond, California.
Responsibilities
- Support coordination of occupational safety programs related to LOTO, ergonomics, fall protection, confined space entry, respiratory protection, hazard communication and chemical management.
- Support coordination of environmental safety programs related to storm water, air quality, chemical storage and management and hazardous waste.
- Lead onsite safety teams, including emergency response and safety committee teams.
- Coordinate EHS activities within the site to further drive a safety culture with management and employees.
- Develop and deliver appropriate safety training based on site safety and environmental exposures and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate accident investigations to identify proper corrective actions or solutions.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, including safety and health, engineering, or chemistry.
- Work Experience: 5+ years of work experience in occupational and environmental safety and health.
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements such as Cal/OSHA and EPA.
- Experience with local and county regulatory requirements a plus.
- Skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook.
- The ability to effectively shift priorities and work at a rapid pace is required.
- Experience with SAP and other software such as PowerBI, Docusign, Smartsheets or UL Wercs is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Compensation: Estimated base salary range is $105,000 to $144,500 at the time of posting. Actual compensation is based on several factors including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.

Pay
